Solo Baritone
Philip is in increasing demand as both a recitalist and concert soloist, as well as as a consort singer, particularly in Devon and the wider south-west. He sings regularly with the choirs of Exeter Cathedral and Buckfast Abbey, and appears with many of the Devon choral groups. Farther afield, he has given recitals at the Three Choirs Festival, Ludlow Weekend of English Song, the English Music Festival, and in other venues around the UK.
Recent and forthcoming engagements include appearances as soloist in Mendelssohn’s Elijah, three Bach oratorios, Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius, Stanford Songs of the Fleet, Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs, and much more!
